Thank you for your interest in attending a Leona Group Schools managed school. As a manager of public charter schools, we are pleased to offer you a free and quality educational choice in a safe, caring, and respectful environment.
Leona Group Schools offers a rigorous education taught by highly qualified teachers. We look forward to meeting your family and we are available to answer any other questions you may have.
Note: Families experiencing housing instability may not be required to provide the documentation outlined below at the time of enrollment. Please inform the school if this applies to you.
A person can prove his or her physical residence by completing an Affidavit of Arizona Residency (available at school offices) and submitting an original or legible copy of one of the following documents:
The residency documentation received by the school will be maintained in accordance with the Arizona Department of Education guidelines and must be verified annually.
This documentation will not prevent a student from enrolling.
Any person enrolling a student should provide the school with one of the following:
All students entering Arizona public schools are required by law to be immunized. If the student has a medical condition or personal belief that conflicts with this law, a waiver may be signed and presented prior to the student's first day of school.
Important: Immunization records (or exemption documentation) are required to attend school, but are not a requirement for enrollment.
Estrella High School accepts enrollment applications year-round. We operate on an open enrollment basis, meaning students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as space becomes available. There is no application deadline, and families may submit enrollment applications at any time during the school year.
If enrollment exceeds our available capacity in any grade level, a waiting list will be established. Families will be notified of their position on the waiting list and contacted in order as seats become available.

In accordance with Arizona Revised Statute § 15-184, if the number of qualified applicants exceeds available capacity after priority placements, Estrella High School will conduct a random selection process (lottery) to determine enrollment.
Lottery Process:

School reviews application and verifies all documentation (typically 3-5 business days)
Enrollment Confirmation or Waiting List
You'll receive notification of acceptance, lottery status, or waiting list placement

FAILURE TO DISCLOSE accurate, complete, and truthful information on the enrollment application may result in revocation or removal from enrollment.
PURSUANT TO A.R.S 15-184(I), Leona Group managed schools may refuse to admit any pupil who has been expelled from another educational institution or who is in the process of being expelled from another educational institution.
Leona Group managed schools will consider all of the facts and circumstances surrounding any disciplinary action taken by a student's previous school and may honor the previous school's disciplinary consequence, including long-term suspension, upon enrollment.
